Tissue Alchemy is different from other forms of Myofascial Release and is designed to address the body dynamically. Sessions combine precision vibrational tools with hands-on myofascial bodywork to locate and release restrictions layer by layer. This approach can be particularly useful around joints and other areas where fascia and connective tissue have become bound, dense, or difficult to access with conventional massage techniques. For example, the ribs, sternum, and other boney areas can be challenging to work with using traditional bodywork. The precision of these tools allows restrictions to be addressed here more specifically, which can impact things like restricted breathing and deep postural issues.

When appropriate, cold laser and/or radial shockwave therapy may be incorporated as supplemental tools to address particularly persistent areas of fascial dysfunction.

How the two hours go

Detailed history. We'll start by going over your intake form in more detail. There is always more to mention than one can fit in a few lines on an intake form, and this info is always helpful.

The method. I'll briefly explain the concept of tensegrity, how I approach fascial restrictions, and introduce the tools and techniques I'll be using.

Standing work. We'll explore movements that feel restricted, assess general range of motion, and look for imbalances. I'll also begin releasing restrictions while you're moving, so we can observe changes in mobility and comfort in real time — and I'll be identifying areas that need more attention, which I'll revisit in the table work.

Table work. I'll work through the areas of interest from the standing work more precisely, while also exploring areas of restriction which may be more present in a passive position.

Follow-up. I'll check in a day or two afterward to see how your body has responded. Although we may notice changes during the session itself, your body will continue adapting to the work over the following days as you move and explore newly available ranges of motion. Based on your response, what I felt during the session, and the complexity of your pattern, I'll recommend a treatment plan tailored to your needs.

What it costs

Initial two-hour sessions are $250 (regularly $300). Discounted packages are also offered for clients who want to work more consistently toward resolving long-standing restrictions and establishing healthier, more sustainable movement patterns. Full details are on the rates page.
